PROJECT ARCHIVE
Below are a collection of projects we've completed that represent the OHIO values, promise, and aesthetic we deliver in each project. If you have any questions about these designs or would like to start a project of your own, send us a request to get started.
PROMETHEUS
Working collaboratively with Gensler, we designed a custom "Advocate's Bar" for the client, Prometheus. The basis for the design is our Noi Table, featuring Walnut Plywood inset in a powder-coated white steel frame. We incorporated room for bar-height stools, a modesty panel, and a wire management system that keeps this table looking simple and clean.
TWITTER
MG West and Bohlin Cywinski Jackson reached out to us to design various custom pieces for our friends at Twitter. The resulting pieces showcase beautiful materials and construction techniques, including white-washed oak, blue laminate, raw bronze, and herringbone patterned black acacia.
TAYLOR STITCH
We wanted to let the quality clothing made by Taylor Stitch be the real focal point of their store on Chestnut St. The pieces we made are refined and simple, yet still functional and beautiful.
SQUARE
For Square's award-winning offices, we worked with architects Bohlin Cywinski Jackson to build ancillary furniture to be used in the lounge and cafeteria spaces as well as collaborative work areas. Featuring hickory tops and a natural steel finish, these tables bring a natural, simple element to the spaces.
RIPPLE LABS
Working with the designers at Studio Hatch, we outfitted the offices for Ripple Labs with variations of our Noi Table with both walnut plywood and white laminate tops in white powder-coated steel frames. We also developed and built a reception desk in a matching style that serves as a welcome to everyone who passes through.
LOOKER
Another collaboration with Studio Hatch, for the offices of Looker, we built over 100 Noi Work Stations as well as ancillary furniture such as conference tables and credenzas. The desks feature white oak plywood tops and natural steel bases as well as a wire management grommet to keep the work areas clutter free.
FUSE PROJECT
Working closely with the designers at Fuse Project, we developed and built communal and conference tables. With a diagonal grain pattern solid hickory top and a custom steel base, the tables provide a simple, yet substantial collaborative work space.
EXPLORATORIUM
We knew we had to make some great furniture for one of our favorite places in San Francisco, so for the Seaglass cafeteria at the Exploratorium we made a few variations of our Noi Table, with walnut plywood and a natural steel base. We also made our Tractor Seat Barstool to provide seating at the bar height tables.
EVERLANE
For our neighbors at Everlane, we made desks and conference tables that bring out the lightness and simplicity of their beautiful space. Our Brooks Tables and Ava Benches use a combination of hickory and white powder coated steel that keeps the space looking fresh and clean.
AUTOMATTIC
In a collaborative project with Automattic's designers, we created functional pieces that complement their aesthetic. These pieces feature natural steel and our custom "carbon" finish on white oak plywood to create a deep, rich black. We also redesigned our height adjustable Adler Table table to act as flexible cocktail tables and lecterns.
ARTIS COFFEE
For Artis Coffee in Berkeley, we paired our table height and bar-height Noi Tables with Olia Chairs and Barstools. The result is an inviting and comfortable place to either sit quietly with a latte and a good book or catch up with friends over a cup of coffee. The clean lines and material warmth create an unmistakably rich space.
